Sathya's name referred by Mr Ravi - Brahma Gana Sabha

It is so nice of Mr Ravichandran, Secy Brahma Gana sabha Top (right in the picture) to have mentioned Sathya's name in his interview! This actually happened on the 11th December, 2006 as he was returning from Mumbai after winning the POGO 2006 Amazing Kid Musician award. We got to know of this oppurtunity as we switched on the mobile as the flight was landing and rushed straight to venue enroute picking up the traditional dress for the concert. Thanks to teh accompanying artists namely Sri B. Ananthakrishnan, Sri Neyveli Narayanan and Sri B. S. Purushothanamn for having accepted to eprform with Sathya at the last minute intimation!

Sathya received "Bala Kala Rathna"  on the 14th December, 2010 awarded by Issai Mazhalai Ramjhi's Balakalasagaram Trust at BVB. A report in Dinamalar dated 15 December, 2010 page 13.

It is indeed a great boon for upcoming artiste to be featured in the media and when it is being done for referral it is indeed a honor. Here in this article the author has come out strongly on the usability of any instrument to adapt or implement in different genre and refers the usage of Keyboard in Carnatic music.

Thanks to The Hindu the New year has got Sathya the patronage of this great English daily and it was indeed a great gift of sort for Sathya after the report in the leading Tamil daily "Dinamalar' on teh 1st Jan'10. Also a surprise was the telecast of a short story on his concert at Brahma Gana Sabha in NDTVHindu Channel today morning in their programme titled "Sabash".

A great day to start a New Year for an artist who is just trying to make a footing in the field and it is probably the best new Year gift for Sathya on this great day. 

This article coming after a great presentation, much to the appreciation of the Sabha officials, enhancementr artists and more so with the audience yesterday 31st December, 2009 for Brahma GAna Sabha at Sivagami Pethachi Auditorium is indeed a great blessing.
